I love every aspect of the work that I do as a Celebrant, but what I find the most rewarding is seeing the look of joy and happiness on my couples faces during and especially after their wedding ceremony. It’s seeing my families finally be able to relax, because they know they have given their loved one the very best farewell. And it’s being asked by family and friends after the ceremony or service how long I’d known the couple or the deceased for. To me, that means I got it right. And that is the most rewarding moment.
consistent social media
Before delving into the strategies for maintaining consistency, let's address the elephant in the room: the consequences of inconsistent marketing. In the hustle and bustle of your celebrant responsibilities, it's all too easy to let your social media efforts slip through the cracks. However, neglecting your online presence can have a detrimental impact on your reputation and credibility.

It was after attending the funerals of each loved-one, two of the funerals were just four weeks apart, and listening to the services which were delivered by Celebrants. I was left with a feeling that I did not understand. I wanted to be that person officiating the service. It felt like a calling, something connected within me so strongly and at the time I did not even know these people were Celebrants, and you could train to be one.

This role is full of opportunity to learn and grow. Each ceremony presents a new set of challenges, demands, and opportunities for creative expression. From staying updated on laws and regulations to adapting ceremony styles, being a celebrant encourages a spirit of lifelong learning. Attending and delivering training sessions, workshops, and networking with fellow celebrants is invaluable. It not only enhances my skills but also allows me to be part of a vibrant community. I love this group of professionals who share a passion for creating meaningful ceremonies.
life celebrations are about love
When someone we love dies, the love we feel for them is as real as it ever was. The feelings we had for them don’t go away. They might feel different for a while, perhaps even painful. But at the heart of our memories is love. I believe crafting someone’s service to mark the end of their life, is the greatest love story there is to tell.
