You’re going to help people find the right words
Loss and grief are different for everyone. Each client you work with as a Funeral Celebrant, will need to feel and express it in a unique way. And often, finding the right words allows them to take the first step in a long process of grieving and can provide them with enormous comfort on that journey. Our Funeral Celebrant Training is designed to prepare you to be an exceptional, caring and supportive part of their grieving process.
You’re going to get our full attention
Working as an Independent Funeral Celebrant is one of the greatest privileges and pleasures of my working life. It’s about people, relationships, celebration and love. Being an Independent Celebrant is not about being in the spotlight; it’s about standing next to others as they are in the spotlight. Whether to help them shine or support them. If you’re looking for a career that can work alongside another, or a full-time role, I’d love to help you take the next step and start your journey as a Celebrant.
If you’re at the start of exploring whether being a Celebrant is right for you, take a look at this informative video
‘Dinah is one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dinah has been my coach throughout all of my training as an Independent Celebrant. Dinah is known as the Grateful Celebrant, but in all honesty, I am the grateful one for meeting Dinah and being able to learn from the best and absorb so much wisdom and professional expertise.
It’s not very often you meet such a soul that is truly invested in you and your personal journey. I will forever remember Dinah and how she has made me feel seen and heard in a way that is just authentically beautiful. Dinah, I love you and am so pleased to know you and call you a friend.’ Philip Dackombe – The Welbeck Celebrant

‘Having just completed my funeral training with Dinah, I can honestly say how each week I really looked forward to our sessions. Dinah has a wealth of information and is extremely generous and kind with her knowledge, always happy to guide and offer solutions, each session was thought provoking. I cannot recommend Dinah enough and my only criticism is that the time went by so quickly!!‘

FREE Celebrant Training
Each year we will award two FREE places to trainee Celebrants. One on each of our Wedding and Funeral training programmes. We believe that the right training and support can transform lives. We are aware that the last few years have put enormous financial strain on so many. Finding the money to train can often move to the bottom of the list in these circumstances.
The Celebrant Coaching and Training Academy Scholarship will be made available to anyone who is looking to change career to become and Independent Celebrant who is not in a financial position to pay for their training at this time.
We have approved our Scholarships for 2024 and students are starting in January. Applications for 2025 will open at the end of November 2024.
Celebrant Coaching and Training Academy is owned and run by Dinah Liversidge.
